I am not sure, about folks on here, but the chip is still very good, despite the lack of attention it got. After spending much time, and fine tuning of the 18 cores from 46x to 49x, with sub timings fine tuned, i get really good gaming, and benchmarks from this thing. Using a corsair 420 AIO push-pull, and full fans at full speed, even with R24, temps stay near 90c on package idle around 38c. The situation is that I'm overclocking my 12600K, I want 5.0 on performance and 4.0 on energy efficiency, experimentally calculated that about 1.30v is needed for this. I have an ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming WiFi D4 motherboard and an i5-13600KF CPU and have just updated to the latest 3603 BIOS which enables the Intel Default by... well... default. I have booted into Windows and loaded up Hogwarts Legacy which is running maxed out at 1440p with ray-tracing on Ultra, DLSS set to Quality and DLSS3 frame generation enabled.
