I am the opposite of slinky these days. Fat, and in pain. Lipoedema and joint pains. I've regained but not as fat as I was when I had a full time job travelling the world. But I am ill at ease in my body and find it difficult going upstairs due to pain. I'm not out of breath. I have done everything - WW, SW, shakes, calorie counting, exercise programmes. I found a shakes with treatment programme worked for me but I failed to maintain. So I am using mounjaro to help me with food compulsion and expect to take 18 months to shed 10 stone to lose. I know I maybe on mj or successor drugs for life, d ..read more

So I decided recently that after years of trying to lose weight and failing, that I would try Mounjaro. I work in a medical field and everything I read about this drug it seems almost too good to be true, but at the moment I really can't see any downside (except price!). I'm a month in and for the first time making healthy choices is EASY. lost a stone in a month and haven't even felt like it was effort, food is not dominating my day, and I feel really optimistic.
I have previously done Cambridge diet (successfully, but over years put a lot of that back on), weight watchers (zero success) and ..read more

Hi all,
So I haven't been on in a few months since I got married (hooray!) - however it was all downhill since then. It has been an absolutely awful few months, anything that could go wrong in my life has, and so I haven't been dieting at all, instead I've been dealing with all this stuff and getting life back as normal as possible. I feel like now it is as good as it's going to get for 2014 and so I want to grab the bull by the horns.
I've decided to return to Exante TS and put in for the long term, I managed to do 100% for the 4 weeks before my wedding so I am confident that I can go 100% w ..read more

Hi
I’m keen to know what people have lost on slimming world in a year?
I joined 6th Jan - first weigh in lost 5.5! But know this won’t happen all the time. Just hoping for a loss each week going forwards - it all adds up!
Would like my first 1/2 stone off tomorrow when I weigh, so a 1.5 loss would be great.
But my main query is, how much weight have people lost by attending sessions and staying on track as much as possible in a year?
I’m giving myself a year, well till December, to see what I’ve lost! I’d ideally like 4 stone off this year.
Thanks ..read more
