Hey, I have an 05 Durango SLT 4.7L. 177k miles and looking at a third tranny. It is beat and I don't want to put the money into it. Maybe I should buy another truck and keep it for parts? Found a 2009 in decent shape 5 hours away from me with 130k miles for 5k USD. I was also thinking about a 2011 3rd gen v6. Can I pull a trailer up a hill easier with it? If not, what about the V8? Hi have a 2014 durango sxt 3.6 liter. It has a p2314 code can not figure out. We have replaced all the plugs and coils and ran a compression test on cylinder 5 it was good.
