Aizen must've been right when he said they were failed experiments. Only Ichigo could use both together and Tosen could do it going by what Kubo said. But the captains only use Shikai at best with their hollow masks. Hell, He'll, FKT the only Bankai we saw being used was by Kensei. No Mask at all.
