Im having this issue where on restart its telling there's a CMOS battery issue, yet when I take It apart there is no CMOS battery, and when I did a system diagnostic through the prompt it said there was a battery failure. So I'm wondering if the battery itself and the CMOS battery are integrated maybe? I recently got a new Alienware x16 with an i9-13900HK, a RTX 4080 Laptop GPU, 32GB of 6000 MHz of DDR5 ram, and 2x2TB NVMe drives. I've installed all windows updates and driver updates, etc. I've noticed recently, when downloading my games on Steam and browsing on chrome at the same time that chrome will hang up for a few seconds every now and then - not because of the internet being slow from download, but the whole browser freezes for several seconds - can't even scroll a fully loaded page. Alienware 15 R3 bought in Nov 2017. I mainly make music while using an external mouse. I have been recently using the touchpad again and realized my mouse randomly freezes, doesn’t move and this is a new issue that started around one week ago, but not with my external mouse. Ever since I got this Alienware I’ve noticed these bubble like marks show up frequently on my display. When I first got it I’d wipe them and it seems they’d go away but I’d have to use more force than I’d like to on a screen so I stopped and have finally gotten sick and tired of them.. does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? Recently caught a deal on Market place for $170 for a R14 Ryzen everything in working order minus the processor being pulled. The guy sold it said he pulled a 5800x out of it. He said he switched due to poor thermals on the processor. I had thought about ordering the 5700x since it's nearly the same chip minus the heat and a little slower clock. Wasn't sure of compatibility with board.(Haven't owned AMD or Alienware since early 2000s) I decided to just toss a 5800x back in it.
