I love using a kero lantern around home (outside) every chance I get, that quiet, warm glow, nothing compares! I had a few nights away camping recently and, because it had been so long, I decided to treat it as a “Let’s try lots of things in the hopes of refining your standard/favourite kit again”, I was travelling by car, so space & weight didn’t matter, this meant I packed a tent, bivvy AND hammock (not knowing where I was heading and so what would be best, but also to see which I...

Stumbled across these whilst shopping. A complete igniting match and fire lighter in one. Certainly not bush crafty but would be handy for someone who needs to light a fire in a hurry ..read more

Bought this cheap Wanderer brand collapsible fire place to take on long car camping trips where space and weight were a consideration. The whole thing comes to pieces and packs away flat making it easy to store in the car.
A carry bag with handles is provided for ease of storage. Has good ventillation slots and burns well.
Quite reasonable priced and bought from the local BCF.
On a cold night burning brightly.
Then a few months later at a camping display came...
