Field finds. Bunch of trash and tons of lead. But through it all something was found after all. Think its part of somw clothing ornament. Sepwrate pieces found ~50m apart Danish 1 skilling 182* year as far i can read of the shadows Its a button heavily crusted. Some floral patern, backside lopp broken off. And added wax on top to seal it Dansk Skilling 1771 somewhat acceptable condition. Patina had broken off and red corosion peaking through. Cleaned with distilled water + very gently with toothpick. And added wax on top to seal it submitted by /u/Due-Ingenuity-5076 [vi ..read more

As the title says, I want to find the surveyor's pins for my property with a metal detector. Any tips? One is probably near a chain link fence, and one might possibly be under my driveway apron, but I don't know for sure. Thanks! submitted by /u/pinetree8000 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
