Hello
Can anyone help me solving my 4wd problem? 2004 H2 and when car is running then 4HI is on, but when in neutral and trying to go to other modes then the other lights will flash amber for 5 seconds and then turn off. What causes this and how to fix it? Thanks

Hello All,
(Posting here as well as r/AskMechanics) I have a 2006 Hummer H3 3.5 Inline 5, currently has 218,858 miles. I had the engine and transmission rebuilt in March of this year. The car normally rides fine, however after I had my engine rebuilt, the car will now sometimes stall if I come to abrupt stop, when slowing down to make a turn, or sometimes when going in reverse. It does not stall each and every time, there just seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it does. Also, once the car is warm and I am at a stop sign/red light, the oil light will come on, then the light will turn off o ..read more

I just put a hold on a 2000 H1 Hummer and asked the dealer if they were ok with me getting an inspection does by a different place. Prior to me asking for the inspection I had asked them if I bought it who'd they recommend I get it serviced by. They mentioned a Chevrolet dealership place; therefore, I used the Chevy dealer for the inspection.
The dealership did the same inspection they do on vehicles they get on trade INS and came back with 30k in items they said "required" for fixing. I talked to the seller of the H1 and they said they would put it up on the lift and review each one.

The old girl died at 184000 miles. I’m going to miss her. Such an awesome vehicle…served me well for >13 years with little more effort than routine maintenance. Switching gears a bit with my new ride though (also pictured)!

I got a check engine that says that my second cylinder is misfiring. I called my mechanic today to get an idea as to what I was looking at in terms of cost to repair, and he said something about the price difference varying considerably depending on if the H3 has "flat ones" or "round ones", if they're not flat, I'm looking at around $350. It seems expensive to me.
Also, regarding the misfire, I'm aware that I shouldn't be driving it to not risk any damage to the catalytic converter, so am I better off having it towed to the shop? The shop is like 20 miles from where I live, and I don't ..read more

Someone told me that some sellers reverse the meter just to show that the car was running less. How to check if the kilometres on the hummer H3 meter are real or it has been reversed,
