So I just bought a double action only Ruger SP101 bobbed hammer. And I am having timing issues with it when I pull the trigger, the cylinder won’t fall in its correct position and the cylinder release button pushes outward when I pull the trigger. My 10/22 TD has a grouping worse than a bad shotgun. Leupold scope, iron sights, 10 yards, pointing in general direction....no group. I never know where the round will land! I have eliminated some common issues. Same day, same round, same scope on my other rimfires (Vintage Marlins) produced tight groups as expected. I am guessing that this modern legend has some issues with the breakdown adjustment knob. any advice ..read more

Based on someone's suggestion in another thread, I looked for and purchased this book. Looks like an awful lot of information to digest. But there is one question about the copy I received. Open up the book and the first page is blank (as is usual in most books) except that in the upper right corner are the numbers "6/24". Is there any significance to this numbering?
