I have a Buckmark Medallion that I love. More correctly, if I'm not careful, my lady friend will be taking it home when I'm not looking She started shooting in December and she shot her second Steel Challenge match last Sunday. The gun has been flawless until this match. Now the magazines don't want to drop. If they are empty, they usually drop. Waiting for the rifle to ship. I love everything about the gun but ... the butt pad. I do think the 4 screw scope base thing is nonsense too, but a non-factor. I really like the rifle's contemporary but still classic lines. The fore-end swell and heel carve will make a comfortable shooter. Then there's the recoil pad ...
