Need more of this energy out there. Who cares if yours is “better”, who cares if you’re in a car/van, tent, it doesn’t matter. Enjoy it!!

RV w/ wide bunks, king bed, slide, approx 25ft?

Anyone know of any travel trailers that have the newer wide "double" bunks, a slide out dinette, and a king bed--all in approx 25 ft? I know I can get a Campsite Reserve 23LM but at 30' it's a bit too long for a music fest we go to. The Wolf Pup 17JW seems perfect but the queen will be too small. I don't want to custom build and I don't want to mod a new camper, so hoping you wonderful peeps have seen what I'm looking for out there in the wild! submitted by /u/Big_Buy9312 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Free Router Website to navigate around weather

For those of you who aren’t familiar with www.rvweather.com it’s a great tool created by a small company that helps navigate you around bad weather while on trips from A to B. I found it through an RV friend and have been using it on car trips actually, but said friend uses it on RV trips around the west coast so I thought I’d post about it here. Best part is there’s a free version of it and that’s really all I need! Happy travelling folks submitted by /u/SamtheUnwise [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Make/Model: Coleman Mach What I think is happening: we’re running AC when it’s getting down to the mid 50s at night and that’s causing it to ice up Background Bought brand new in 2022. Never had this issue. Just had it fully serviced and inspected before a 3-1/2 week road trip It happened in Colorado Springs area at night and again at the Grand Canyon at night. Filters are clean, it was just serviced 2 weeks ago and ac inspection came back clean Everything I’ve discovered via Google just seems too confusing for me to understand and I can’t imagine there could be any clogs as we haven’t been u ..read more

Paying to haul?
Reddit » RV Living

I’ve seen comments on a Facebook group from several people mentioning they’ve paid people to haul. Is that a thing? If so, how do I go about finding someone trustworthy? Side note: we haul ourselves but this time we can’t. My husband does disaster relief clean up and he’s too busy to come back & get the kids & I. We’ve got a 2019 explorer & he mentioned wanting to risk it & using it to haul our travel trailer ??? which I quickly reminded him of what people have said in this group about weight/hauling. Just curious! It’s not a need but a want. submitted by /u/Fun-Introduction9 ..read more

My first time ever in an RV

Later this summer my gal and I are going to a music festival where we’ve rented an onsite RV for the event. Neither of us have ever been inside of an RV, so we’re wondering if there are any tips to make our time there the most enjoyable. Do all RV’s have awnings or should I bring a canopy? How much energy can I drain from the battery before it runs out of juice? What’s the average RV bed cushion like? Etc., etc., etc. submitted by /u/ROGGAEvibrations [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I have an older RV 1988 Chevy pace arrow. I’ve been smelling sewage underneath the camper and inside, and for some reason when I go to empty out the black tank Harley and for some reason when I go to empty out the black tank Harley anything comes out so clearly it’s leaking somewhere. Any advice would be grateful. submitted by /u/NewSelection5441 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
