Hey fellow car owners, I wanted to get your opinion on purchasing extended warranty on my new 2023 Hybrid Elantra (in Canada Toronto). The finance lady quoted $2588 and when I said I won't need it she gave max 25% off around $1970. Its the $100 deductible plan. As title states, is there any way to test the battery pack on any Hyundai Sonata hybrids? I have a 2013 which seems to be having issues charging in cold weather. Seems like Regen is engaged but not charging so getting really bad gas mileage 23mpg or 10+l/100k. Also wondering if I can disable the hybrid system on these older hybrids since it might not be worth to fix as battery pack is probably worth more than the car value... I have 2017 Hyundai Elantra Special Edition. I have 197K mileage on it. I am having issues with my front driver door opening from outside. After locking the doors, it won't open from outside. I need to get in the car from other door and open it up from inside. After closing the driver door, If I don't lock the car, the door opens up from outside. Had the first engine replaced at no cost and hoped that would be it. Nope. The second engine then failed for the exact reasons specified in the replacement coverage and they have been trying to deny this replacement. They have lied about oil change receipts but we had proof of the emails sent, I have appealed, and now they are asking me for documentation on oil changes I did FOR THE FIRST ENGINE THAT FAILED. Does anyone have advice how to get more miles while driving long distance. I fully charged to 100% and it only gave me 267 miles. I thought I would at least get 300 miles which is perfect from LA to Vegas. With one stop midway to recharge. But the hills were killer on the way into Vegas I had to stop midway and again in baker to get the last 100 miles. I'm driving 75 miles per hr. Am I stuck driving less then 70 miles to get more of longer charge. Also should I have the setting be on eco or normal drive. PLEASE READ!! Need advice!! I took my 2019 Hyundai Elantra in to a Hyundai dealership on the 14th of this month because my check engine light went on and I noticed my engine was burning oil. I was told it would take 3 days to get me a diagnosis. The third evening rolls around and I call for an update and am told it’s almost done getting drawn up and the service guy would not return my calls. I currently have a 2020 i20 that has halogen lights and looking online I am not able to see if I can change them for LED ones (I see that they cost about €40-100) or if I have to change the headlight completely, I have seen that it fits some philips h19 12644 Ll... I understand that the h19 is the thread? Is there some type of adapter to put filters in?
