I hate to even share this. First no I don't do drugs and no I don't drink! I went outside and saw what I thought was my cat climbing a sapling it was about 3-4' off the ground. Our cat is a killer. However, I was blown away to see it was a ground hog! Have any of y'all seen a ground hog in a small tree ..read more

So after week 1 on new ground with the black coyote and 2 others I have managed to catch a grinner, 6 coons, had 2 dig outs and i caught one that crapped all over the place and pulled out. Did manage to get a few eager members to get trapping license and already buying traps for next season (so we were successful always nice to pass the knowledge into others)....so after 2 weeks of hair pulling we are running out the rest of the week and pulling traps Saturday so I don't have to pull anymore... Animal Identification

I have a question. I just went to my backyard and saw a small animal take off towards my creek, after I spooked it. It was slightly smaller than a beaver and had a furry tail. Its body structure was similar to a beaver and low to the ground. I thought maybe a groundhog but I live in the southwest corner of coweta and it looked 2x the size of a groundhog. Any ideas on what it might be. I will put out a trail cam and see if I can picture it ..read more

Haven’t done much trapping in the last couple years . Landowner that lets me turkey hunt called and said he’d been seeing a few coyotes in his cow pastures , and asked if I’d set some traps . Sure don’t want him to find someone else and let them hunt . Dug my gear out today, had dyed and waxed after last use and they looked good . Plan on getting them in the ground this week ..read more
