So finally connected and retrieved a coyote after getting the thermal. Should have had a truck load over the past month and a half, but between missed shots and what was either bad shots, bad bullet choice or probably a combination of both that resulted in a lot of runners that I’m sure died but couldn’t find. Do any of you use mouth calls over e calls. I love a challenge. I don’t remember how bad I was when I first started turkey calling. Tomorrow morning I am going to pattern one of my 12 gs for coyote. I got OO buck shot. I couldn’t convince myself to pay $80 for 10 of the hevi shot coyote shells. To save on shells should I use the stock modified choke, full choke or a kicks gobbling thunder .665. I can’t find anywhere on the pack that it says don’t use buck shot in the turkey choke.
