I’ve been using instant ocean reef crystals since setting up my tank back in October of 2023. Everything has been going well, but about a month ago I started testing for magnesium and found it to be very low- my tank was at 1050. I have been dosing and slowly increasing that to now around 1410. The euphoria are absolutely loving it, I’ve never seen my frogspawn and hammers more open and extended. Hello. I have a 210 that’s about 6-7 months old. I have a pretty good outbreak of algae and was interested in getting a sea hare to clean a lot of it up. I’ve heard they ink when threatened and that’s the only thing that’s worried me because I don’t want my tank to crash especially since I’m looking at getting corals soon. Has anyone had any experience with sea hares? And also what about some tips to ensure they don’t feel threatened and decided to ink everywhere. I have a 75g sumpless tank ran with a Seachem tidal 110 for filtration. (Just added a uv yesterday for my Dinos) I have a pretty heavy bio load in my tank and I think it’s time to get a skimmer. Do any of you have any suggestions? I’ve been looking at the tunze comline and I like how it looks sleek and sits in the tank instead of on the back. Have any of you used this and what do you think of it? If you have any suggestions for other equipment I welcome that input as well.
