Apologies if this question has been queried. Having given up with Sky Q because of cost I'm in the throws of purchasing my first satellite receiver. Because I want 4K and FBC tuners my option will most likely be a Gigablue UHD UE 4K. I have gone with FBC tuners because I shall need multi channel recording. My main question is if I'm using a Unicable 2 LNB with single output do I connect to tuner A or B. So, it seems my better half doesn't particularly like the user experience with the android TV Kodi I am using as a client box in our den. It is a little different to navigate around and she would prefer it if the behaviour mirrored the receiver in the living room. Fair enough, we aim to please. Yesterday I tried client mode on an old Vu+ Duo long since pensioned off. As soon as I enabled client mode the box crashed and continued to crash on every boot. I have been using my H92S successfully for a couple of years and have updated it successfully by USB once in the past. This evening, I thought it was about time I brought it up to date. So the Bouquetmaker would work again - what a mistake! The recommended HP Format program tells me each USB device is locked (heaven knows why), so I used the windows 10 format process, was I wrong to do that? I have tried two different USB sticks Fat32 one is 32gb the other 8gb both Sandisk and the unit resolutely refuses to install the latest Vix image (yes its the correct image for the unit). Around 23.04.24 I started to see a flashing green blob inside info bar displayed when changing channel or pressing info. It looks like the green circle from the 'open Vix stable icon' blob.png From other comments on other sites, I suspect this might mean an update is available? I have tried menu-system-software update, but the box sits at updating packages, please wait... forever. It never moves on. Last night (22 Apr) I upgraded to 6.5.003 via the software update method. This morning I noticed that the only two timers manually created as reoccurring have gone missing. They are no longer in the list of timers. I have these timers to tune into BBC One HD and Sky's IEPG channel each morning to fetch the over the air Freeview (terrestrial) and Sky's FTA (satellite) EPG . All my other timers are set by autotimers and all these were still present. It may just be a coincidence that the two timers have disappeared around the same time as the 6.5.003 update but it may be worth others checking ..read more

I have a Gigablue UHD UE 4K with a 1TB hd in the bedroom (its where the sat feeds are) so I have brought a Zgemma h8.2h to act as a client. I can quie happily watch the channels so it is all set up correctly, but I cannot watch recording that are on the GB nor can I pause live TV. What do I need to do to enable this?
