I'm guessing this is a shot in the dark but is there anyway to access a simple list of the recordings contained on a Dish-formatted external hard drive? I have multiple EHDs and I'd love to be able to create a directory for each one and look for duplicates and no-longer-wanted recordings without having to look thru each one and take voluminous notes. Hi everyone, I've been using my Apple TV HD (not 4K) and have been happy with it. But, I just switched from YouTube TV to DirecTV Stream and discovered that the Apple TV box does not support the numbers buttons! This means that I can't jump to a different channel by inputting the channel number. I have to scroll up or down to the desired channel. Moving to a new location, going to try DirecTV Streaming when we get there - so I needed to cancel Dish. There is no way to simply log in to your account and cancel service. The only way to do so is to call in. But the wait time just to speak to someone was nearly 45 minutes, and then when I finally got to speak to someone, that was another 15 minutes to arrange everything! What an aggravation ..read more

My 12 YO TiVo is beginning to show its age and I'm thinking time to upgrade. I really like the TiVo - especially the fact that two tuners are always active and buffering. With a button push I can switch tuners and have 30 mins of the other channel waiting. I can pause the show I'm watching - go check the news on the other channel and then come back.
