Morning, as I’m super excited about having finished this piece, I’d like to share a few pics. My favorite one to work on is the Dan Wesson Commander Classic 45 Bobtail. It just leaves me the entire slide to work on without any factory engraving. On this one I enjoyed the research on the Oil & Gas theme - learning about Red Adair, BOP valves, chain hands, etc. The pistol is entirely hand engraved with hand fabricated sterling grips and solid 14k yellow gold mounts. Need some help. Just picked up a DW PM7. I would like to put a set of night sights on it. Have learned a little bit now about Bo-mar cut. The web site says that they are a "bo-mar style" sight. After calling Dan Wesson i found that the measurments for the rear sight is 60degrees x .365 x .112 I checked with kensight.com (i liked their adjustable trijicon bomar cut) but found that theirs is a 65degree cut. and yet it says bomar cut.
