Absolutely puzzling behaviour - editing a PDF imported as bitmap just does not work. It refuses to be moved by hand, and entering new coordinates also resizes randomly (without keeping ratios). This latter behaviour is also the case for entering rotation angle. Importing the PDF as an OLE renders it completely unusable as Corel complains of a lack of memory for any process (32GB not enough as it turns out). "I recently downloaded CorelDraw 2024, but hadn't gotten around to using it yet because I didn't notice any significant new features that made it worth setting up. However, I was intrigued by the new Painterly tool and thought it would be a game-changer. So for context: I recently got a new job, same field however I’m switching over from Mac/Illustrator to Windows/Corel. So far the switch has been alright, I’ve found a lot of tutorials and honestly absolutely love Coreldraw. But there are two things I just can’t seem to find the fix for. Breaking up shapes. Is it possible to break up welded shapes, without having to manually add back all the internal cutouts. Surprisingly, I can find essentially zero scripts online for manipulating text in Corel Photo-Paint. a) I can get the command for selecting an object at a point using Recorder, but I cannot then make it set the fill color. The script that gets recorded sets the fill and the text, and if I remove the text assignment from the recording, it sets the text to empty string. I have a substantial number of files to export to PNG from CPT. I would like to record a script that does the export, but that doesn't work -- the script doesn't replay the mouse clicks, it tries to get "smart" and ends up saving every file as the same file name, so they all save over each other. I have worked with Co2 lasers for a couple years now and finally bought one of my own. I have CorelDraw 2023. I installed RDWorksV8 but I can not get the CorelDraw plugin to install. I followed all the instructions online, changed my security level to medium, and selected Plug Laserwork in the RuiDa download, but it always says "Can't find the installation of CorelDraw!" If I select Locate Install Path I can't find any combination of file and version that will download. The most recent version I can select is 2021.
