Ok, so here is the background. This unit is a 2015 (or 16) Ranger Crew 570 EFI I am working on for a friend. I will admit that electrical work is not my area of expertise, but I tend to be able to figure these types of issues out and this one has me stumped. When key is turned on, EFI Fuse blows immediately, which kills all other electronics on vehicle. I assumed first that this was a short to ground due to rubbed or exposed wire, but I have spent hours and hours investigating that... 2015 Ranger 570 EFI electrical issue ..read more

2023 Northstar Ultimate around 600 hours. After the machine has been driven for several miles across the ranch at mid to high RPM’s the engine starts to cut out but will quickly go back to same rpm’s. Never dies just surges. I treat all my fuel before it goes into the machine and run Seafoam about every other week. Only once has it caused the engine light to come on. After the machine sits for a while it starts and runs fine but symptoms will come up again once it has been driven for a... Surging at Mid to High RPM ..read more

My amp clamp shows close to 600A on hills and I do mostly up and down hills. But thats lead acid and I’m sure there is huge voltage sag so it won’t translate to lithium amp requirements? I figure enough people have put packs in now we should have an idea of what the real world requirements are? Is a 400 amp continuous system enough in lithium to have something that is not gonna cut out on hills ..read more

An electrical short to the Digital Gauge Display?

Hello everyone, I have a 2022 Polaris Ranger Crew SP 570. It's the mid-size, base model. For a time, the digital gauge display where the speedometer/odometer/fuel gauge is shown was not working/lighting up like there may be a short somewhere. Thankfully it's on and back working now, but its probably a matter of time before it... An electrical short to the Digital Gauge Display ..read more
