Hey all, I recently came across this wing while having a clear out, I believe it's from a 2005 model. Does anybody know anything about the badge placement or the chrome indicator trim? It's not like any I can find elsewhere. I'm assuming it's a modification made by a previous owner but really dont know for sure. Any thoughts or assistance would be very much appreciated. I know this issue may have already been addressed. My 2006 Miata MX-5 keeps getting that pesky check engine light, P0126 error code. I hooked up my scanner and started my cold engine and I monitored my engine coolant temp. After warming the engine thoroughly my scanner showed a coolant temp of approximately 125 degrees and it stayed around that temp for about 8-9 minutes and only then did it increase to around 205 degrees. I've tried to figure this out on my own and every thread I've seen ends up being about an NA or NC or too technical for me to follow (not very good with wiring diagrams). I guess I could go under the car right at the sensor but I'd rather not. Just doing basic checks on UK registered 2019 MX-5 Orange edition before its first MOT. Never noticed before, but it has just one reverse light coming on? Is this correct? growling noise ......I have a 2014 cx5 ...manual...with 210,000 kms on it.....recently has developed a growling noise front left even at low speeds and gets more noisy at higher speeds......installed new hub and bearing.....with no change.....makes noise when coasting in neutral as well ......did forward and backwards turns to check for velocity joint issue....and nothing...no clicking....mechanic did not think velocity joint......is not related to snow tires...perhaps another bearing? of sorts ..read more

Hello. I am a newbie to this list. I have a 2006 MX5 with a noise problem. When I am accelerating, typically in 5th or 6th gear to about 60 or 65 mph, I hear a knock or clacking sound (like knuckles against a table), always in groups of 2s, just under one second apart. My mechanic has driven and heard the sound but is unsure what it is. He does not detect anything specific with the engine. Just got a brand new MX5 2022 automatic. Had it for a month and only 2000km, never driven hard. Ever since day one, it makes a humming noise from 70-75 km/hr or from 75-70km/hr. (from middle centre of the car) After couple hundred KM I put on, the same sound start happing in the 40km range and 20 km range.
