Have long liked the Shinsen pkg cars since I test drove one in college when they were only a few years old. Would love an ND, but way out of budget currently. Found one semi-local, about 4 hours away. 2003 (obviously) Shinsen 140k. Has the side skirt ground effects & rear spoiler, looks completely stock. Small amount of door panel wear (elbow) on driver's door. Also looks like it has seat covers on it, so unsure of the state of the OE seats. New top, tires & front brakes. Value-wise... So I picked up a 92 Smurf blue with 250k miles on her in FL this past Aug, I flew done from Boston to Gainesville. The owner picked me up at the airport and took me back to his place of employment. I did a walk around, checked her out, went for a drive through the gears and gave him a bit of cash, got the title and then drove 3 hrs to my moms place in Venice. My miata got totalled in an accident on October 15th. The only damage done do it was the front end that got torn apart, and the back window to the convertible top blew out. A week prior before the accident I had replaced the clutch, clutch master, and drive shaft. Original wheels but the tires are about 1 1/2 years old. My VIN is one of the cars from a Differential Service Bulletin. See attached Bulletin. Bought my NC1 used. Two owners before me. Called up Mazda and got Service History. First owner got Diff Oil changed at 77.000 miles but I still have the whine when I hit 50 mph. I will get Diff oil changed again since it is now at 114,000 miles.
