I have actually owned this rifle twice. Bought it the first time from a individual at a gun show about two years ago when I wasn't looking to buy anything much less a .22 but absolutely fell in love with this beauty. Then I later traded it and another gun off to a friend for my Cetme rifle with the option of first refusal should he decide to part with it. Fortunately for me I got it back recently in another trade. It is supposed to be a K98 training rifle but this is really just a new... My Norinco TU-KKW .22 Trainer ..read more

Most of my life I wanted a 45-70 and when I was about 60 I broke down and bought a stainless Marlin Guide Gun, do not hunt much with it just wanted it because... and I think anyone who like lever guns should have one...so here they are back on the market now that Ruger owns the Marlin name. There is nuthin special about this one, a cheap rail on top and a big loop lever, not worth much unless you hunt with mittens. There are few guns more fun that launching those big bullets. If you need... Inflation, and guns, Marlin 45-70 Guide Gun, aka Ruger Guide Gun, on Sale, buy quickly ..read more

Always wanted a Marauder so I made one with the help of a friend to do the machining. Originally a Remlin 336 Spikehorn. Before and after. the only thing changed was from pistol grip to straight, finish on stock, checkering removed, stock thinned on grip area and forend, and larger lever. Also have a standard straight lever that I can change out as I prefer. All else is as standard issue. Specifications and Features: Marlin Model 336Y lever-action rifle .30-30 Winchester caliber 16.25"... Remlin Marauder ..read more

Hi, new guy here. I picked up a Marlin Model 60 FS 22LR for a kid that just underwent cancer surgery. I thought it would be a great gift for him after going through what he went through. The guy i got it from said he thought it might be from the late 90's. I went to a "Marlin Lookup" page but it said their were no results for my serial number of 00197292. So, my first guess is that it is a year 2000 manufacturing date. Does that sound right? Also, i took the gun apart for cleaning... I have a Marlin 60/S, manufactured in CT with a 18 shot tubular mag. And 4x Bushnell scope. Serial number 17473814. If what I read is correct that would mean it was manufactured in 1983 but they did not make the 18 shot mag in 83 so can someone explain this please ..read more

This looks a little fishy to me, but I'm not sure. I thought the JM had a circle around it. Didn't know if this was one they used late in the Marlin (truly Marlin) lifespan ..read more
