Fellows, I need some help and cannot seem to find the right charts here on this forum. I'm following an online auction that currently has several Marlin lever guns. In particular, I am looking at two that I can't quite figure out when they were made. The first is a Marling 336CS chambered in .35 Remington with a serial number of 7002535. Ran across a nice, unmolested Waffle top in really nice condition, the only kick is the bullseye hole has been filled with a clear epoxy or caulk. Help, I am conflicted they want 1k, I offered $800 and squeezed them down to $900 and they won't budge off that number. I already have a 2000 336 in 35 rem with that pesky safety.
