Has any here ever heard of an Italian brand of cymbals called Zenjian? Not Zildjian, Zenjian. I can only find this article and very little info on here. https://killerdrumrigs.com/zenjian-cymbals/ I just obtained one with a 1965 Ludwig Club Date kit I picked up ..read more

Best cymbal cleaner (light cleaning)

Say guys, What do you recommend for an annual light cleaning of smudges, fingerprints, stains, etc. off regular cymbals. Not a deep cleaning of an abused cymbal, just a light wipe-on, rinse-off cleaning. My cymbals are A and K Zildjian, modern manufacture, regular finish. Nothing custom or fancy. Thanks in advance, Marty Black ..read more

Split rivets small size

I know there's a really old post on here about these - somewhere. I'm in Australia and I can't get the cymbal rivets I want : small, split, brass or nickel. Just got some Bosphorus - spent $40 to get them (minimum order etc) and these are so big! Who would put such huge rivets into a cymbal? They used to be half the size. The Zildjian ones are the crimped ones. Any clues? I can get them from Europe but they want nearly 2 Euros each!! I use these small rivets in my vintage Paistes and they get lost at gigs so I need more. Small; brass or nickel; split. Cheers ..read more

Hi, Has anyone here ever noticed that from the 1980's to the current line, that the size of the bells on the 16 inch Rock Crashes have been enlarged over time? Any info would be great. Thanks! Phil Cormier Leominster, Ma 01453 ..read more

Hi All, Was wondering if you could help me identify this? It's a 15" vintage Zildjian with a Constantinople trademark, likely part of a hi-hat, thicker than my 90's New Beats. Having a hard time finding a similar one online for reference.... Thanks! Attached Thumbnails ..read more

I don't know a lot about these guys except that they say they are Turkish cymbals. Does anyone have any more information about this particular cymbal? I haven't seen it, but it's a 20" ride, I only have the one picture. Thanks. Attached Thumbnails ..read more

Beverly Ride

I have a 24" Beverly ride I bought new when I was in high school in the early 70's. I used it till I toured (when I replaced with a 22" Zildjian)- now a 20" Sweet Ride- At any rate- I was wondering if such a cymbal is collectable or worth much? (sorry no pictures) It is in perfect condition and sounds great for a ROCK ride- (although kind of loud and washy for my taste today) I have no desire to part with it as it is part of my history- but wondered as I am writing up notes to keep with my past gear for future generations of possible interested parties. Thanks so much for any info! DJ ..read more
