These bums are horrible. I remember game 1 one of them was talking about how Hellebuyck was good because he was very organized and how he had his gloves labeled that said “practice glove” and “game glove”. She talked about how maybe he was working in the practice glove to use in a game or something. She went on for like 30 seconds about it. Other than the fact that pretty much every goalie has stitched in labels in their gloves and it’s not exclusive to Hellebuyck. You don’t wear practice gloves in games. The Phillies fans pulled him out of a slump by cheering for him instead of booing the man. I can't imagine being taunted by an arena and your own fan base would do anything positive for your mindset.

After arguing with a lot of you the past couple days prior to game 2, I just wanna echo what coach said in his post game presser that Georgiev isn't the sole reason we lost game 1, and that this is a team sport, no matter what. We can dissect stats all day but what it really comes down to is a full team effort and handling all the extremely detailed scenarios in games the right way. Yes, not every little scenario will be played correctly, but when the team performs the way they did in game 2 and mostly does the right things in front of their goalie, that gives the goalie the best chance to do ..read more
