I have a 2018 24GT that I acquired last fall. When we got it, the speakers were weak and sorta scratchy, so I figured I'd have to replace them eventually. The phone over BT wasn't audible at all. I took to a dealer to check, and they said, yeah, there's issues, take to a MB place. Gee thanks. Oh, BTW they said, it doesn't play anymore, just a loud screeching noise. I reset the system, and updated the software. There is some faint music you can hear if you turn it up all the way, but the screeching is out of control. Hi there, I have a 2016 Interstate Grand Tour Ext w/ 300w solar. I have already upgraded the inverter, but need someone experienced in upgrading to lithium so the correct components are used to protect the chassis alternator when charging the house battery while driving. Hi, I have a 2017 Interstate 24GT and one particular component near the chassis battery generates heat when the engine is running. The heat is where I've circled in red below. It does not occur closer to the positive terminal or on the Mercedes pyrofuse. I checked for resistance with my multimeter and got a reading of close to zero at all points I tested. The heat is enough that it starts to hurt after leaving my finger there for about five seconds. Any insights? Thanks ..read more

I wanted to let folks know that if you purchase the new Victron Lynx Class-T Power in, it’s only available with M10 connections and not an M8 like the regular Lynx Distributor and Power In. However, they do now sell the Lynx Distributor with an M10 connections as well. I initially purchased both but sent back the M10 Distributor and got the M8 Lynx Distributor instead. The Lynx Shunt 1000 will not fit as they only come in M8. The Lynx Smart BMS will work as that one is available with either M8 or M10 connections. A very bad odor from a partially full black tank will waft into the cabin when cruising with driver’s/passenger’s windows open. This odor will not occur if the windows are fully closed. My guess is that it’s likely the windows down promotes a venturi effect and produces a differential pressure to somehow pull the foul smell into my breathing zone. The toilet is well seated, the bowl contains water, and I use an additive in the tank to reduce the yuck. Not sure how the vent pipe is routed. Could I be pulling the stink from the outside exhaust port? Any suggestions on a fix? Sorry for the stink ..read more
