I wanna know if peafowl, especially peacocks, can be nice, or if they're just mean and protective. I know this is a question for Google, but all I ever get is "Peacocks are wild animals and can be aggressive and do serious harm to anyone they perceive as a threat." which is true for literally every animal, yet a lot of those animals can... I have 19 peacocks and give them all the same snacks daily, so they dont get allot. What I need to know is can I reverse it and how. I feel terrible that I could of... Read more ..read more

I am aware of the risks of keeping peafowl with chickens and free ranging peafowl. I only want to hear of stories of allowing a broody chicken raise peafowl ..read more

I just got a beautiful Indian Blue peacock and I noticed that his whole tail is an almost rose-gold or dark mauve color rather than green. His shoulder feathers are more gold than green and he has purple mixed in with his blue neck and head. Would he be considered a purple or is he just an odd-ball ..read more
