Please help me, this is driving me insane. Effectively I am a 28yo male, and a while back my fiancee bought the unisex perfume REPLICA By the Fireplace - Maison Margiela and it smells EXACTLY like something I used to own around 2006-07 whilst playing the game Runescape (for some reason the smell has linked itself to that memory...) and I must know what it is, its driven me mad for 2 years now. The other day I walked into a Macys and tried a sample of Spicebomb Extreme, I heard it was powerfully sweet and has a lasting spice. I instantly fell in love with it after the first whiff and I bought a bottle. When I got home my bottle smelled different from the sample and it was much more weaker. I wore it to work a few days ago and at my lunch break it completely wore off and what really angered me was the fact I could see and feel the residue it left on my skin.
