I am working on a big multi-tenant building and will be using 4 8MP cameras, and 49 4MP cameras. (30 days recording, h.265, 25 frames) I am trying to find out what is best way to choose an NVR, because I don't want any performance or recording issues. for example, I was reading Ds-9664ni-m8 data sheet (64ch) and it support 8ch 8MP and 16ch 4MP decoding. Been looking for a used bargain "powered by darkfighter" cam, and ideally it'd be a 2cd2046g2, but I'm seeing a lot of 2cd2045 models. I looked at the spec sheets which were similar, although the older '5' model has a larger sensor at 1/2.5" compared to the newer 6 model at 1/3". What is primary difference between the 2**5 models and the 2**6 models? Its for a nest box so primarily interested in low light performance. After configuration on the firewall allowing nvr through and adding nvr onto Hik-Connect platform, I encounter another issue. The 3x IP cameras connected to the nvr not online.
