I purchased 2 new Breitlings; Chronomat B01 42 ice blue dial and Classic Avi Chronograph 42 Mosquito. My son will receive the Avi to commemorate an achievement in his life later this year. However, I am still deciding whether to keep the Chronomat or trade it for Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch. I purchased a Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 about 1.5 years ago.... It started running slow by about 15 seconds a day so I took it to a Breitling boutique and after about 7 weeks got the watch back and it worked fine.... Now, it is about 20 seconds slow again!!!....this is frustrating! Do their movements stink???? Anyone else with this problem??? Thanks ..read more

I recently visited my local Breitling boutique here in London and I was happy with the service I received. The place was dead so all the attention of the staff was on us. We spend around 90 minutes in there and not a single soul entered. They offered drinks for myself and my partner and seemed very accommodating. I asked to try 2-3 watches on and I kind of felt a little bit bad inside me as I had NO desire to buy anything from them only to walk out and lose 30% of its value. I just recently picked up a Colt Chronograph from someone on reddit, and they told me that they were pretty certain that the watch had never had a service. Given that the watch was likely from the early 2000's, I decided to send it in to Breitling for a service. A few days ago I authorized the servicing, and today they informed me they were starting the process, and the watch would be done and returned to me on 7/29/24....the end of July?? Seriously??
