I am looking for an affordable powder to set my makeup and make it last a while too. I’m actually completely unfamiliar with powders since I’ve only been using baby powder. It actually kinda works and there are no flashbacks (I don’t bake, I just set my liquid products). But I thought that maybe using a powder specifically created for makeup might work better.
What’s better, pressed or (a small amount just to set liquid products, always) loose powder? Which brand?

I’m 35-years-old and honestly don’t know much about makeup. I’m interested in buying a few higher-end quality products for my everyday life (foundation, concealer, lips, mascara etc). Is there somewhere a I can get a “free” consult and then buy the corresponding products? Sephora used to do this but I don’t see it listed as a service anymore. I’d like to have some guidance, in-person if possible, before spending $$ on said products. Would also be willing to spend $$ on the consult if it’s helpful. Thanks!

Okay - I’m a woman with natural filled upper and under lip - 46 years old. I have bought two Dior liquid lipsticks- but I’m struggling to make them look easy and nice on the lips. What can I do to prepare my lips?

I want to start wearing makeup but my skin is awful. I have red dry spots next to my nose, dark circles and large pores. I put Ponds on my face some days but usually forget. Where do I start? Also I’m 42 so have a couple of lines. Thanks!

I haven't bought foundation in years and don't know what to get. I have started taking two different medications that make me sweat like a crazy amount while just sitting. (Like literally dripping down my face if I'm moving around) which I really want to be able to dance the whole night and have fun without worrying about my makeup looking terrible. What do you guys recommend I do?

Hi there! Long time makeup nerd, haven’t really posted on here.
I’ve gotten more and more into powder foundation because I have a very oily skin type and it works out for me. Admittedly, I haven’t tried using concealer with powder foundation because I’m scared to do so to mix a liquid product with a powder product. Do y’all have recommendations on how I can do this? Right now I’m using the chanel powder foundation but heavily eyeing the Natasha Denona one that’s about to come out lol

I have tried so many brands for foundation. generally i have to go for the lightest shade now ( Im not naturally pale but even when i was more tan i still had the same problem) All of them are either too orange or pink. And the people who work at the makeup stores say they do not know either . What is the solution?
Help is appreciated thanks

Hi! So I’ve seen a bunch of videos over the past few weeks of people getting sent PR from big companies who don’t have much of a following. Just curious how this is happening for example the one person I saw only has 56k followers on tik tok and the PR she gets is crazy. She only has 2 videos with over a million views but the rest of her videos only have like 200 views. So I’m just confused, and I’ve seen a few like this.
