Has anyone tried to dug out a Hogue 19022 Overmolded K,L,N,X,Z Tamer (500 S&W, 460) conversion grip to fit an N-frame Square But (SB)? It is made for RB frames only, but I figure if the grip is big enough it just might be able to fit the square but after some surely difficult deep grip excavation. And, if anyone happens to have a broken X-frame 19022 Tamer grip. Would you consider cutting it in half inte two grip sides and take a pic of the insides? Might help in understanding how to... Can anyone with a 629 SB (or I guess any square butt N-frame) help me out and measure the exact width of the SB back/front strap i.e. the visible metal part between the grip sides at the lower back of the revolver? I mean what you can measure without removing the grip sides. The reason for this: I will get a 629 SB within a week together with a separate Hogue Tamer grip which is only compatible with RB N-frames. I had somebody ask me about an extractor he found online which I will include a link to below. He wants to know if this extractor could work on his HK 416d .22lr. I have a late 1930s Hand Ejector that has the 6 digit serial number on the butt, as well as the barrel, but also inside the front of the frame is a different 5 digit number that has a corresponding number on the swing-out.
