Hi all, I bought my MAG Z490 Tomahawk from amazon in France in november 2020. I have never updated the BIOS. The version on the BIOS right now is E7C90IMS.110 dated: 05/21/2020. I want to keep my rig up to date but I've heard all these horror stories of bricked MOBOs, specifically the Z490s that dont have a "flash button" built onto them. I'm tech savvy enough to follow a tutorial on updating the BIOS but the only apparent fix for this bricked MOBO is to use some kind of hardware and manually remove a chip from the board for flashing which i have no confidence in doing myself.
