I noticed E85 pumps typically list the range from 50% to 83% on the hose/nozzle. In most cases, folks are getting 70% or above, but I've seen others fill with lower e-content. I also remember reading there is little different in detonation resistance between 70% to 85% (meaning you could most likely run your high boost setting on either), and anything lower than 20% ethanol could be considered "pump" as far as fuel compensation and detonation resistance. Recently opened the front cover and replaced the timing belt, tensioner pulley, spring and front crankshaft oil seal. Overall not too bad under there. Some oil seepage was coming from the front seal so I replaced it and cleaned the area. Everything else was surprisingly clean under the lower cover. Main tip when installing the new belt, start with the crank pulley, then wrap around the oil pump pulley then the intake cam pulley. Greetings everyone, I daily drive my supra and just recently it started a very distinct issue with the automatic, when driving at around 50-70 mph it can't seem to make up its mind whether to lock in 4th or try and downshift to 3rd, it's a slow pulsating in rpm while remaining the same speed, it isn't completely consitient with every drive but it does start to happen eventually. I have a fuel pump prime settings in AEM Series two, but realized that the Infinity does not have such a thing. I'm using the standard LS0 output to control a fuel pump controller with specific duty cycle. Works great, but it would be nice if there was some way to shut off the fuel pump if the engine was not running, just like the V2 system would do. I recently rebuilt my 5mge and I had the cams reground for midrange. 403 lift 264 duration. I did not degree the cams. It idles kinda low and no matter what I do I cannot get codes to display with jumper. Has anybody else run across this issue? If so how do I go about fixing it ..read more
