Maybe not a good idea to mix 61 lit candles and oxygen tubes though
Go for it anyway.
Seriously, good luck Dave!

it shouldn't be too much of a challenge for the little grey cells.
Ha!
My over-stressed little grey cells are stuck between "Here We Go Again" and "Lonely Street of Dreams".

Thanks all - however - I've just heard from the surgeon and he wants to see me next Monday and has scheduled surgery for May 7th!!! - way ahead of what was initially proposed. I'll be taking that opportunity. Looks like it's hospital food for my birthday though! Maybe not a good idea to mix 61 lit candles and oxygen tubes though

Thank you Plummy.
Although this song doesn't appear to have been put up before, it shouldn't be too much of a challenge for the little grey cells.
But it's home

Just one more (first 5 days in a row for 6 weeks) - as having a day off work and in London tomorrow, so no time to row. After struggling to hold pace and rating in the HM, in preparation for my FM, decided to do today's Hr+ at FM pace (called it a LMD - Long mid-speed distance in my logbook as definitely "grey") to get used to it and see what happens to HR at this pace (ie whether it is feasible). Felt Ok so added another 15' at the end.
Time Distn Rate Split MaxHR % MinHR %
15:00 3,251 19 02:18.4 144 78.3% 092 50.0% - started a bit fast and slowed to target

That's a pretty bust few days you've had since I last posted Iain Very consistent set of 5' intervals followed by a nice LSD row and then a gold-target-and-SB-hitting HM followed by another LSD recovery row Surely time for a rest
Very nicely controlled 500m Franz In stark contract to the "fly n die" 500s that many of us deliver (myself very much included). As Iain suggests - I'm sure there's room to squeeze a little more out of that
Ian - nice R20 with R15s. I do find that session really interesting - the instruction is to maintain the same pace with the R15 minutes, but like me, you've ..read more
