I'm wondering how it caused a bus soft start fault.
May be due to +12V missing from pin 2.in bus soft start circuit feed back portion +12V is connected to R248,c140 (in my case axpert vmiii).
Also this +12 is supplied to relay coil at D68(1N4148 smd).

Was that the only fault on the control board?
I'm too impatient and can't wait a week shipping time to get a RJ45 socket.
I have canibalized a PC mainboard to get a RJ45 socket.(provisional).
Yes I confirm: My faulty control board (with F09 Fault) is repaired, changing only the RJ45 socket.
Checked on my 3024 VMIII, all is working.
Haven't check the SCC, because haven't hight voltage panels on my roof, but PV show now 0v

Hi! I need your help again. The inverter's fan is running continuously 24 hrs. I noticed another weird thing too. in the morning the battery will never go to float mode, voltage will rise to 29.2V the current will drop to 3A over time and then thats it never go to float . I put the inverter to standby mode ( side button) and it goes to float in about a minute or two. This thing and the fan thing are inter related I think . I will try removing the batteries, solar and grid to reset it. happening since two days I think. today is the third day. yesterday it went to float mode like it would go but ..read more

The good news: 12.21 supports SoC% for settings 12,13, and 29!
The bad news: 46.08 and the latest I know of in that series, 46.11, do NOT support it.
It's starting to look like it depends on which engineer is in charge of the software for your model. For example, the Axpert VM IV (new versions, 4 kW or 6 kW) have had this feature since early 2023 (I thought it was late 2023, sorry), but I don't see many if any Axpert MAX models have it.

Do you know which firmware versions support the new % thresholds?
I didn't immediately see any 8 kW firmwares that support it.
If I have a firmware update file, in a few minutes I can determine if it has the feature or not. Display firmwares take a little longer, perhaps 20 minutes.
If you tell me your existing firmware version numbers, I can check the others I have in that number range.

I wonder @drlizau if you are able to point me in the direction of the local company you are using?

Thanks for that Andrew. I've decided to go with a Canberra service who will import the battery and fit and test. From a short phone discussion I think they are buying the batteries from the same Chinese supplier. There will be updates to come.
Hello!
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread.
I am also looking to do a battery upgrade, and I am in Canberra.
I wonder @drlizau if you are able to point me in the direction of the local company you are using?
Thanks

If it was me, I'd also be going with LFP cells.
On the other hand, I had a 12volt 1200amphr bank on my barge in France. Those were Victron AGM batteries (expensive) but were still going strong after 12yrs. Mix of solar and diesel charging. Never allowed below 60%.
I also had 12V 560Ah of AGMs on my yacht and they went for 11yrs at which point they pegged out. Also with solar (dual MPPTs) and auxiliary engine charging. But I never discharged them below 60%. Two years ago I replaced these AGMs with EVE LFPs. Same volume, about half the weight and over 840Ah of which close to 100% is usable, un ..read more
