Was going to continue building to be my daily driver but ended up having major surgery and can no longer work on it. My loss is your gain. Has only been driven about 300 miles since conversion. Runs and drive but need more work. Will not part out. Specs: Uqm p100- motor and converter 123a system batteries running in series at 440v and has about 300 cycles of use. I'm beginning in earnest my VW Squareback conversion and this seems like a reasonable place to keep a build thread. I bought the car 1 year ago as a restoration nearing completion, mostly needing finishing (trim, seals, lights, glass, and interior). I've got gs450h that I love, but it just spends too much time running the ice. How hard would it be to replace the batteries with lithium, add a few more and trick it into using the ev motors most of the time? Better yet, could I remove the ice and replace it with battery packs so it was now a full ev?
