A bud wants me to do a paint job. I'm very skilled with tools, detailed oriented, but not a pro - I'm gonna need a bit of help with assessing this. I've sanded drywall, wood, metal and worked with all kinds of paints, stains and finishes - so I got the skills. There's 4 floors of those black rail guards - metal from what he says, I'll have to see for my self. Hey! I've recently wanted to start painting my own clothes (the first one is going to be a hoodie) . I bought this paint, but after reading some articles I'm not entirely sure if I should mix it with something before painting my clothes or not. Some say I could mix it with fabric medium but some say it's fine on it's own. Did anyone else use this brand before and has some suggestions for me? Hi everyone. I don't know anything about painting. Is it okay that SW ProMar 200 was used to paint my kitchen cabinets? I bought my first house that I plan on living in for a few years and then turn it into a rental after I move out after finishing residency. I hired contractors to do some remodeling and paint my entire house. They used a SW ProMar 200 Extra-White semi-gloss paint for the baseboards and door casing, and then I decided I wanted my kitchen cabinets to match. Can anyone recommend a super high gloss varnish/sealer for this painted laminate IKEA cabinet? Sanded all surfaces before priming, applied 3 coats of BIN shellac, sanding between, and 3 coats of oil enamel using a roller, letting dry 24 hours between coats. I have seen people polish and buff to a high gloss finish, but that will remove the paint on the edges. I thought the propellants in spray may eat through oil based enamel paint, and polyurethane tends to leave a cloudy finish if applied too thick. Correct me if I’m wrong regarding the spray sealant.
