Enjoy a soothing blend of relaxing traditional Chinese instruments - the sound of nature mixes with Bamboo Flute and Pipa and combines with a rich and vibrant scene to enhance your work, study, and sleep environments. Allow the gentle melodies to guide you through moments of tranquility, creating a serene backdrop for your daily activities.

Hey I’ve been looking at the sort of architecture or proportions of orchestration, for example Beethoven’s Symphony 7 second movement, and Nielsen’s Symphony 3 second movement both have broad proportions of orchestration, i.e sticking to ideas for relatively long stretches of time. Does anyone have suggestions for pieces that do this well? (Another obvious example would be Bolero)

Hello! I've composed a piece, "A Spirit's Tale," for a string orchestra. This is one of my initial works in a cinematic style for such an ensemble. As a cellist myself, I'm eager to hear your feedback on its playability and the overall composition. I've always appreciated the versatility and emotive potential of string instruments, often highlighted across various music genres.
In "A Spirit's Tale", different sections of the orchestra take turns carrying the melody, creating a dynamic conversation within the music.

Hi everyone! I'm interested in arranging music scores for choir and was wondering if anyone could recommend some good method books or resources to help me get started. I'm particularly interested in learning about voicing, harmonization, and notation techniques specific to choral arrangements. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Hello! I’m trying to go to college for composition, but I’m specially wanting to focus in musical theatre composition. I am happy with classical pieces, but career-wise I’d like to be in a focused program. Are these types of programs available? And if so, where? Thank you!!

Hello everyone!
I'm about to finish my first string quartet. Quite exciting. I have an opportunity to record it with an actual quartet soon which makes it even more thrilling. I thought it could be wise to share it with some other composers and gather some opinions/thoughts. There are still several things that need to be fixed with regards to the score editing (alongside some other stuff), but overall, I'm quite pleased with the result.
I decided to compose it as one continuous piece that is nonetheless divided into 3 parts, each of which represents different stages of life (the first part, f ..read more
