Happy to be finally joining the family. I’m an average height early thirties guy with no riding experience, but years and years of fantasizing. I am not looking to do any serious touring on my bike, but mostly just getting to work and running groceries. I will need to be on highways and at most my commute is about 100 miles round trip. Most of my riding will be highway but I do want something easy to bop around town. Price isn’t really a problem and I’m looking at a couple options: HD Nightster, Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Ducati Scrambler Icon, or a local 1982 Suzuki G ..read more

Hi all, Just purchased a 2017 Rebel 500 over the weekend and am super excited. Nervous about dropping it though so was keen on some engine guard recommendations. I really prefer the sleek look of guards that don't stick out too much so have seen Givi ones recommended but am wondering if there are any others that aren't super expensive nor stick out too much. I live in Australia FWIW so am also not sure of availability of some of the options. The ones I've seen mentioned are: Givi TN1160 (available on Amazon AU delivery is May 4th) KAPPA KN1160 (like the look of these but unsure where to buy ..read more

I have a grom it’s tagged and insured that my dad helped my buy, he’s fine with me getting my permit but my mom isn’t. I’ve asked her multiple times and supported my stance with statistics and told her I will only take back roads and will never leave town. Wtf do I do cause I’m starting to feel hopeless it’s been 1 whole year since I got the bike and I just have to look at it submitted by /u/FloppyMantisFB [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I recently purchased a 2007 Kawasaki zx14 that has 44,500 miles with a “seized motor”, I purchased it hoping to rebuild the motor and sell it for a small profit but I got the bike home and took the motor apart to found out the motor had completely blown up and destroyed everything inside, if I purchased a used but good complete motor with around 15k miles on it realistically how much money would I be able to sell it for? The bike doesn’t have any mufflers but everything else is in good functioning condition, it did come with a clean title In the previous owners name, if it’s not going to ..read more

So hello there riders of Reddit. Me M 29 decided it's time to enjoy streetbiking as I used to do Motocross on my 450 KTM exc. Now after buying the gear I'm at the biggest crossroad. The bike itself. Looking up some motorbikes what are the best ones etc ( I'm looking to start on something 600-800ish no 1000s yet) And came down to these 4 with the Kawasaki being the favourite ( based on videos only) in terms of comfort riding but from the videos compared to the other bikes the engine is a bit lazy.( I guess it is a bit on the heavier side but the 21l tank is handy I guess?) So as for the bikes ..read more
