The 2023 Nike New England Winterfest Volleyball Tournament is coming to the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford for three weekends in January. USA Volleyball has selected Kansas City, Missouri, to host the 2025 Girls Junior National Championship for the 11-13 age divisions. USA Volleyball announced earlier this year it is splitting the Girls Junior National Championship beginning in 2023 and having one tournament for the 11-13 age divisions and one for 14-17. The newly formed Pro Volleyball Federation has awarded its first team to Grand Rapids, Michigan. The upstart league, which debuts in February 2024, will initially have eight teams, with 10 being the end goal. The Pro Volleyball Federation announced it will begin play in February 2024, offering “real pro volleyball and the premier women’s professional volleyball league in North America.” Organizers revealed Columbus, Ohio, and Dallas-Fort Worth will be two of what it expects to be eight to 10 cities the first season.
