Howdy all. Mark IV Lite has suddenly stopped ejecting spent casings about 20% of the time. I just cleaned it a few days ago. Fired about 150 rounds through it this morning and first mag in started having this problem. I can cycle it by hand and the casings eject fine,but not on their own. When the problem casings are hand-ejected, there is a deformation on the rims like they are hitting the bolt face on a rebound. I am not getting double feeds or stovepipes. I have been offered a very little fired Savage 72, dunno the year. Bore is bright and clean. Whole gun is clean with a few little marks, nothing of any consequence. Octagon barrel. Plain jane stock. Seems like a nice little .22 single shot from what I have read. Thing is, its a rifle of a neighbor of a very good friend about 1000 miles from me. Hit a local show this afternoon. Seen a few nice rifles and shotguns. But they did have a nice complete Mossberg 144LSA for $350. Second time around I did ask him if he was firm on the price, he was and it was hard to walk away from it. Then the second one was a project butt fed 380 semi auto, missing a couple parts and it felt like the bolt was stuck. It was tagged for a BILL.
