Hello to all, Years ago the Adobe Type 1 typefaces came in white envelopes with the floppy disks enclosed. The white envelopes had legalese printed on them. If my memory serves me correctly, the legalese noted that the end user had bought a license to use the software (the Type 1 fonts) until a certain date. What was that date? Im having a big trouble with this. I have a personal and comercial font family with 70 fonts but only 2 are conflicting each other: ChevySans-NarrowBold.otf ChevySans-NarrowBoldItalic.otf If i install narrowbold first, narrowbolditalic doesnt work, if i install narrowbolditalic, narrowbold doesnt appear. All the other fonts work normal. I have a snippet to put the page number on a document. When I make it, I use the proper new fonts, but when I import it to a document which we reuse regularly, it defaults to a T1 version of the same font. A character style is applied in the original document to create the snippet, but that character style itself is switched to the old font when applied to the new document. I have learned in this community, that OpenType PS, is NOT actually the old postscript file. However, I have fonts that include both OpenType - PS and OpenType - TT. I have a few colleagues who have downloaded the full Gotham typeface set. But it's split under two different sets in the Adobe (and any other type using software).   For example, they can select 'Gotham' in the main set choice, and then in the font options, they can choose 'Thin, Extra Light, Bold, Extra Bold etc', but to choose Gotham Light, they need to go back to the main set options, and choose 'Gotham Light' in itself, and then under that set, you can choose 'Light' again, so it ends up as 'Gotham Light' - 'Light'   It's worth noting this exact set works fine on mine and another ..read more
