So recently I have found myself watching porn and being unable to stop. I have always watched porn and always been straight and had straight thoughts. A friend of mine has two vials of holy water. These vials were used by a priest who was requested by my friend’s mom to bless the house they are residing in. My friend said they think it would be fun to use the water within the vials on a toy shark. Is it ok for Holy water to be used in this way? I'll try to make this brief. I have a huge issue with assurance of salvation. I think it's basically unattainable at this point. I've been struggling with this for 5-6 years and it only gets worse. I've heard multiple preachers use this terminology over the last year. I'm not sure if they all went to some preacher conference where someone rinsed off the curriculum from an HR or business-leadership seminar and used it on them, but now it's infiltrated the church. You can 'cast (epiripto=throw) your cares' but 'casting a vision' sounds like 'casting a spell' especially when used with the word 'vision' which links it to prophecy. Recently I started to pray and read the Bible daily. It was an amazing decision for me. I felt relieved. But when I sin or see something bad about myself I instantly become guilty and stressed.
