Found what I think is an eagle button. Done some research and reading and I'm coming up with a raised line shield button (1875-1902). My question is the shield is different than the pics I found online - more like a badge than a shield. The back is a solid rust blob so can't read a back mark. Two questions; is this a 1875-1902 eagle button and what is a good method to try to remove the rust without damaging the button? Thanks ..read more

I haven’t heard much on the manticore and considering the success the Equinox 800 has had on gold I’d be curious how much extra performance if any you’d get out of the manticore? Am also new to the forum.
I recently moved to the Greer area from Michigan and my wife is getting tired of hearing me talk about my metal detecting and exploration plans so I need to get out.
Wanted to see if there was anyone in my local area interested in doing some exploring. Been previously metal detecting for relics, am also interested in old bottles, arrowheads, etc…
Let me know ..read more

I got an email that I'm a lucky winner of tickets to go to the popular Antiques Roadshow coming to Littleton, Colorado May 29th. ?. I'm gonna take these English chambersticks I purchased at a thrift store in 2020. I haven't decided what my second item will be yet. https://www.treasurenet.com/threads/my-silver-haul.644684/#post-6632447
I hadn't cleaned these chambersticks since I purchased them, so I'm getting them ready for the show and I must say they sure will look pretty when both...

Ships have been located..1st is a slave ship, second is a ship located in the Antillis Islands, silver coins have been found and is undisturbed. This is not a joke and we ask for serious replys only please as time is of the essence. The slave ship could easily be documented by say Discovery Channel etc. or the History Channel. Plus this would get our name out and circulated ..read more
