I'm looking to build my other half a pc for general usage work mostly probably not much gaming if any. I was thinking she could have my old MSI tomahawk X570 I'm currently using with my 5800X3D. The tomahawk has been solid enough but the Wi-Fi is crap on it and the Asus has Wi-Fi 6e and I've Virgin media hub 5 and 1 Gig so this looks decent. Is B550-F any better than X570? I know X570 has more pcie 4 lanes but I'm not really bothered about that, I just really like Asus boards as I've already... Read more ..read more

I got a new system with the ProArt X670E WiFi, unfortunately trying to install a clean install from USB with the latest download, part way through the install when it needs a network connection it couldn’t identify the Intel i225 v3 Gb/E card. Ended up having to download and customise it using Windows Deployment Tools and Powershell to integrate the drivers from the Asus website. Otherwise the board is an excellent choice with unique features such as integrated 10Gb/E from Aquantia and two... Read more ..read more

I'm in the process of building a new computer & a little unsure on on-board Wi-Fi. At the moment I use a PCIE Wi-Fi card which is a wifi6e which works flawlessly delivering me full speeds(1gb). Will the on-board Wi-Fi do the same and if not, can I disable this setting or add my current card to the system without any compatibility issues ..read more

I have tried to understand how this works in order to establish if the x16 PCIe for GPU gets reduced to x8 but I am still massively confused as there doesn't seem to be empirical confirmation and all I have really seen is a lot of anecdotal info based primarilly on peoples interpretation of information they have seen. So I am looking at getting this motherboard Asus ROG Strix X670E-F Gaming WIFI (Socket AM5) DDR5 ATX Motherboard Order Asus ROG Strix X670E-F Gaming WIFI (Socket AM5) DDR5 ATX Motherboard now online and benefit from fast delivery. www.overclockers.co.uk pairing... Hey guys. I bought this board to run my 7600 with the option to upgrade to the 7800X3D at the back end of the year. I watched a video review of the board and I dont have any heat sinks. Is this board OK or should I be considering upgrading - allI'm really bothered about is my FPS in games, i have noticed the board takes 30 seconds to get to the MSI screen then more or less instantly boots. A guy on the MSI forum told me it was how AMD checks RAM. My RAM is running fine BTW. I've also seen... Read more ..read more
