I want to know about Ultraviolet (UV). Many people say that these are harmful for your eyesight, I feel irritation and pain in my eye whenever i sit in front of a screen. Hi, in the explanation, I followed along with and understood how to find which half reactions were being oxidized and reduced, and then finding their respective Ecell values (and also knew how to flip signs to properly assign (+) and (-) to the Ecell's. I got confused when the explanation dove into utilizing Equation 2 to solve for the answer. I understand why n=2, but why can we assume E = zero, why does Keq= Q, and how do I know that this is under nonstandard conditions? and how did I know to use equation 2 instead of for example, equation 2? thanks!
