So with Villa managing to survive, are the majority of fans still behind Lambert? Getting relegated with such a young squad would have been a disaster but now there is a chance (with some investment) that they can push on again and the young players have had a tough but beneficial experience in battling each week to stay up. Benteke again was excellent until his stupid sending off. Sloppy. Other players who I felt impressed were Delph and Weimann. Both played their socks off and made some great interceptions - always putting there bodies in the way. I have been really impressed by these 2 since February to be honest. 1 up and a man up we shouldn't have chucked it away.
