Have a siezed pin on the trim ram on my DPH-A. They can be pigs to get out but with effort, penetrative oil and rotation they shift. Got one drive off ok, but one pin on the other drives refuses to come out. Cannot rotate it even with the usual clandestine tools, wedges and knocking sticks. It's an older pin as well without the hex head making it substantially more difficult. So question - anyone used an induction heater? Seems safer than naked flame. My engine will only run with the choke fully out whether at idle or at cruising revs. I've cleaned it thoroughly without solving the problem.I have a couple of questions someone may have an answer for; At cruising revs, does the fuel supply bypass the mixture screw? ( and slow running jet ). Are there small drippings in the fuel supply that can only be cleared by compressed air? Both jets are correct and clean, and the supply line and tank are clean. Hi, Does anyone have the spec for props on a Fairline Corniche from standard on shaft drives (twin TAMD41B's)? Or even a picture of their prop markings on a Corniche? Recently purchased this boat but she is running a touch low in speed which I believe is the props (clean hull and engine at rpm), one looks as if it has been eaten away and has chunks missing from blade edge. Hello Has anybody replaced the frame and canopy on the sealine S23? We are really struggling to understand how this works and find it a real pain in the rear. We have to lower it to get it through the locks and bridges. If you fold it forward it sits on the steering wheel and you cant see where you are going. If you fold it back you cant get out the transom door when you need to get off the boat. It is just not practical at all or are we doing something wrong? Any advise please ..read more

Hi, Where can I find the correct required airflow CFM and boost pressure for my Volvo Penta TAMD 61A engines? I want to fit new aftermarket airfilters (K&N) and am keen to double-check that max. airflow is sufficient. Already checked Workshop Manual but only shows how to measure boost pressure, not what values they should have. No idea where CFM could be found... Thank you ..read more

Biggish event on Saturday. Taking a few RNA folks on quick trip out in company with 5 other boats. Popped down to boat which fortunately is only 10 mins away to check water and alcohol levels.
